The Town of Redvers hereby notifies the public that the Town Maintenance Men will no longer collect any garbage or refuse from renovations, even when said renovation is completed by the home owner. Contractors have always, and will still be, required to dispose of refuse themselves. A copy of this notice will be sent in the utility bills.
Examples of Renovation Refuse:
– Shingles
– Scrap Wood (decks or walls)
– Drywall
– Bagged renovation garbage
– Scrapped kitchen cabinets, vanities, toilets, sinks, etc.
– Rugs, flooring of any type
– Cement
The items no longer collected is not limited to this list.
Please note that Maintenance will still collect tree trimmings and garbage that Hortness Enterprises has left behind due to size/weight issues, as well as non-Freon appliances.
