About the Library
The Redvers Public Library is located at 23 Railway Avenue, attached to the Town Office. We are a cheery, cozy library that offers programs for all ages, from Pre-School Storytime to Senior/Adult Coffee & Colouring programs, and everything in between. Our monthly programs feature Makerspace kits that are physical literacy and STEM based and offer a variety of fun activities to try.
Our mission is to provide the residents of our community with the resources and experiences that foster a lifetime of imagination, discovery and learning!

Monday: 1:00-5:30
Tuesday: 9:30-12:30 & 1:00-5:30
Wednesday: 3:30-8:00
Thursday: 9:30-12:30 & 1:00-5:30
Friday: 9:30-12:30 & 1:00-4:00

Branch Librarian– Katy Soroka
Katy joined the Redvers community 12 years ago, moving from Manitoba after completing her degree at Brandon University. She and her husband Derek have two children, Elizabeth and David who keep them busy with school and sports activities! Katy has worked with a variety of organizations through the years including local credit unions and she serves as the secretary and treasurer for both the Redvers Health Foundation and the South East Medical Group. Katy is passionate about teaching and education as she is also a Skate Canada figure skating coach as well as a tutor. Katy began working at the Redvers Library in September 2023 where she enjoys offering a variety of programs and services to our community members. Her favorite part of her work is visiting with patrons. Whether you’d just like to catch up, want help choosing a book, or need help with your math homework, she’s happy to help! When you can’t find her at the library, you might find her spending time with her family….or coaching at the rink!
Branch Assistant– Kim Frecon
Kim has been living in Redvers for the past 35 years where she and her husband have raised their family. Kim has volunteered with various organizations throughout the years. Her first love is looking after children and for many years she worked in this field. From there, she started working at the Redvers Library and she has loved every minute of her time there. Kim’s other passions are all kinds of crafting, one of these is making Quilts, and sewing in general along with crocheting and knitting, these and trying to be a gardener keeps her busy. Her greatest love is the love of her family, as she has 4 children, 12 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
