The Redvers Health Centre is in Sun Country Health Region. It is an integrated facility, which consists of acute care (offering services of a well-equipped laboratory — Level IV and X-Ray Dept.), ambulance, long term care, home care (meals on wheels), community health, physiotherapy, palliative care, addictions, and nutrition services.
Assistance can be provided to obtain service for podiatrist, early childhood intervention, acquired brain injury, behavior management, social services, pharmacy (emergency), and dental health educator. Acute care services have been offered since 1948, with a new acute care portion of the integrated facility opened on October 1998. The long term care portion of the facility was built in 2012, and has twenty-three long term care beds and one respite bed. Ambulance services are provided on a 24-hour basis (911).
Employed in the Redvers Health Center integrated facility are approximately 92 employees. Our ambulance service is housed on site. We presently have three general practitioners who have medical clinic hours from 8:30-5:00 (306)452-6362.
We are generously supported by the Redvers & District Community Health Care Foundation Inc., local businesses, organizations, and citizens of the of the district through donations and bequests for capital equipment purchases.
We also have medical services for our pets. Head for the Hills Veterinary Services (306)452-3558 are located on the east side of Redvers and west of highway #8. This clinic is set up for both large and small animals.
