Redvers Kids Clean Up for Earth Day with Sweet Reward
The Town of Redvers held a community-wide Earth Day initiative from April 21 to May 2, encouraging local youth to help beautify the town while school was out for Easter Break. Kids were invited to collect small bags of garbage from around the community and bring them to the Town Office. In return for their efforts, participants received a coupon for a free ice cream cone from W&N Ice Cream, Redvers’ local ice cream shop.
The program was a success, with several kids taking part in the cleanup while enjoying time outdoors. The sweet treat was both a reward and a reminder that taking care of the environment can be fun—and delicious!
