Redvers Public Library Annual General Meeting

The Redvers Public Library invites everyone to their annual general meeting on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 7:00pm.

The Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory is finally lifted!! We would like to thank everyone for their patience and ask if you know anyone that is living in the area that was affected, please pass this message on.

**JUST A REMINDER**
We only accept the items listed below out at the recycling bins at the Recreation Centre.
We DO NOT accept styrofoam, ANY kind of light bulbs (including florescent lights), ceramics, soiled cardboard, hazardous chemical containers, scrap metal, car parts, plastic toys or household garbage. Please throw these items in your garbage containers.
Also, please remember to crush your cardboard boxes. This prevents the bins from filling up too quickly.

It’s that time of year once again!! Please have your water meter readings in to us at the Town Office by March 15, 2019!

The Town of Redvers is now accepting resumes for a Summer Student position!
The position is for maintenance work, mainly mowing grass. We are seeking applicants who are currently enrolled or accepted into post secondary education. Application deadline is March 31, 2018. See attached picture for more details!

The water is now ON and working again! A HUGE thank you to everyone who was out their until the job was finished last night!
Please remember that the Drinking Water Advisory is still in effect for everyone who had their water turned off yesterday. If you don't have a Reverse Osmosis System, there is water available at the water tower!

Due to the water line break, we now have a Drinking Water Advisory for the affected areas. This will be in effect approximately for a week, we will update you once we have a better timeline. Below is the information you will need. Please keep in mind if you have a Reverse Osmosis System that is in GOOD working condition, you do not have to boil your water. If you do not have a Reverse Osmosis System, there is water available at our water tower.

WATER LINE BREAK UPDATE:
There was a main water line break on Souris Avenue early this morning. We are working as fast as we can to fix this problem but have no timeline as to when the line will be repaired, however, we are thinking those affected will be without water for a couple days. Streets affected are:
#2 and #4 Dr. Arthur,
#1 to #33 Rhodes Street,
#2 to #33 Eichhorst Street,
#2 to #26 Souris Ave,
all of Roberts Street,
all of Robins Drive,
and #1 to #12 Railway Ave.
The Redvers Union Estates, Redvers Medical Clinic Lodge and Villa will also be affected.

There has been a water line break on the east side of town which will cause no water or low pressure in that area. More info throughout the day as it comes available. We apologize for the inconvenience!
The Town's recycling bins have been hauled away, for those of you who may not have noticed! We will be getting new "multi-material" bins from Loraas Disposal on Tuesday, February 26th. This means you won't need to sort any of your recycling; your cardboard, paper and other recycled materials will all go together in one bin - nice and easy! The new bins will be dropped off at the same location at the Recreation Centre.
